Everything was well-maintained, so where lovely views of the lake. The standard king room didn't seem appealing on photos but it was luxurious. The service was exceptional, the breakfast was good hot and lovely. Besides, our parking was on site.

I found the decor of the place very relaxing, clean, light and airy. The spa was very inviting and I liked the various options on offer. The massage I had was really amazing. I felt incredibly relaxed afterwards. My daughter who is pregnant had a 'beautiful bump' treatment and was equally pleased with her experience. Our rooms were clean, nice decor and well equipped. The restaurant meals were really delicious and the staff very helpful and respectful. I don't know if we just chose a good time to come but none of the facilities felt crowded which contributed a lot to the feeling of relaxation during the whole stay.
We came under a special offer and didn't have enough time to do all that we wanted to. We found ourselves having to choose between eating and using the spa facilities. I think the time could be more flexible and allow people to stay on at the spa after they have checked out on the Sunday, maybe till 4pm at no extra charge or alternatively, to arrive from lunchtime on the Saturday even though they can't check in till 5pm.

Perfect for a relaxing getaway
The hot tub was a real highlight. Just picture this, soaking in warm water while I gazed at the fine views. It felt very nice, honestly.
It wasn't cheap, but honestly worth it for the experience.
